Buying through an Online Source for your ostomy Supplies can be confusing, thats why we've created this step by step walkthrough to help customers understand how this process works.

After a Customer adds Items to their Cart and are ready to check out - they go to the "Cart Page" - found here. In the Bottom left of the page there is a box to input your BC Services Card - Personal Health Number (PHN) - see below:

 

Customers then Continue to the shopping Cart - and enter their information for shipping and pay via credit card.

 

The Credit Card is not charged once a customer submits this for payment, but instead is held until the Pharmacare Portion is able to be processed by our staff.

Our staff then use both the birthday and the PHN of our customer to process this order through Pharmacare. The amount that you will pay (and what gets charged to your credit card) will be based on how much you had paid in the current year toward your deductible, which is based on your income from two years ago - more information on this can be found here.

Your credit card will then only be charged the difference of what is still needed to pay to reach this deductible cap.

Example:

A family with a annual income of $50,000 has paid $1,500 (3%) of their family income on Pharmacare eligible products in the current year. Additionally, they make a purchase of an additional $1,000. Pharmacare would then cover 70%($350) for the first $500, and 100% for the remaining $500. This means that the individual would then be charged $150 for this entire purchase.

In this case, the individuals credit card would only be charged $150.
